A day in Norwich

Jon and I haven't been to Norwich for ages to just wander. Today we dropped Mollie off in Cromer for her day at Hatters Teashop, and and then drove in to the city. We parked at Anglia Square then walked up Magdalen Street, dipping in to every charity shop. Jon was very patient as he hates charity shops, but I've missed this particular road so much since the job moved to being home based. I used to spend many lunch breaks browsing here.

A great start with the first shop delivering what we were looking for (Pitch Perfect on DVD for 50p)

We went to the cafe in the cathedral for coffee and cake, then browsed a few shops, ending in St Stephens Church for leek and potato soup at lunchtime.

After a walk to the top of Upper St Giles Street (where Jon had not seen the blue plaque for Sir John Mills before) then back down again, we eventually headed back. Spent quite a long time in Looses - if you like antique/collectables/junk it is a must. Jon doesn't, but he let me anyway! Then home.

Mum and Rod have arrived for a week in Norfolk so I had a cup of tea with them before cooking a fry up for our tea.
