Las Grietas

Had an enjoyable afternoon exploring two volcanoes although it was heavy going at times. 

The first two images show volcanic cracks produced by the cooling of lava and the action of water over the years.  I've got a few pictures with people walking through them, and although they give a sense of scale I found I preferred the ones without the people. 

The third one is the Bomba Volcanica at Montana Colorada.  The 'volcanic bombs' are various sizes - this one is huge.  The larger ones like this are found very close to the crater while the smaller ones can travel for miles.
