Today was wet and miserable.  OH went to play golf but they decided not to go ahead as it was too cold and wet so he was home by 9.30.  As you may have read before, I don't like it when plans change but I tried not to be cross and amended my plans to include him.  I was driving to Tooting to collect No.1 who was coming home for the weekend.  We arrived just after lunch and I had taken soup and cheese scones to eat.  JC was working from home so it was good to see him too.  We stayed for a while and OH put up a few pictures.  The sun came out and we decided on a walk before driving home.  We visited Morden Hall (NT) and did a circular walk but not really enough time for the shop (just as well with my record of plant purchases this week!). Traffic home was bad but we tried to keep smiling.  Home for a glass of wine while the quiche cooked.  I'm still not 100% happy with the  recipe but will keep persevering.
