The Highland Pipe Band …

….. ….. ….. playing on the Village Green in Arrowtown, at the Autumn Festival.

My daughter and I went in to Arrowtown early, to go to the annual farmers market. We thought we were early, but an awful lot of people were already there and it was tricky finding a park. We looked at all the many stalls, chatted to many we knew, had some delicious roasted chestnuts and a coffee, and then made our way home, wending our way through the line up of traffic still arriving.

I didn’t go back to the Grand Parade as I was waiting for a friend to arrive from Christchurch. She did arrive and we’ve been chatting ever since! It’s lovely having her here.
