Years ago, a line of cherry tree saplings was planted alongside the 2nd hole at my golf course. Unfortunately they were on a hillside and a few winters of good snow meant they were sledged to destruction. All apart from this one, the last in line, which shows how nice that hill might have looked.
Which is just an intro to me saying that my game was half descent today and I won the match. Not words you’ll read here often.
