Friday Vibe

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

In my further bid to make Fridays a thing I went into the office today. I arranged a "support session"* with some of the other BA's and felt a bit better about things.

I'm not on my own with how EFFING FRUSTRATING I find this place.

But mainly I was there for my 3.30 meeting with Manda in the pub.

Is it 3.30 yet?

I was in the starting blocks at 3.20. Watching the clock. Packing up at 3.25. And then ZZZZZZZZZIP was out of there like Usain Bolt on roller skates. 

Little did I know that Manda - who had been complaining of boredom since 2pm - had JUST been given a shit-ton of work to do "before you leave" by some effwit who had been keeping this thing in his in-tray for OVER TWO MONTHS.

That effer needs to get a job at Kiwibank.

So I sat on my own looking out of the window. Then a random woman turned and looked right back at me.... 

JADE!!!

If you do not remember her, Jade is Jeff and Manda's ex-landlady. Also, she likes a drink so she came in and we had a lovely chat while we waited for Manda. Jefe also came along too which was a nice surprise as I wasn't sure if he was in town today or not. 

We didn't stay long. I have plans for Saturday, so only intended to have one, make that two. Two and a whisky. Three. Now Jade needs to buy a round. Four. Maybe five.

So I got home at 8pm feeling pretty ok. And Jade is definitely down with making Fridays a thing.

Weird that she turned around when she did though. My powers of mind control must be stronger than I thought.
