School Science Fair

Well - what a day!  Starting with a flat tyre.
I'm not sure how long it has been since I last had to jack up a car and change a wheel but is is decades back.  Thankfully the wheel nuts were not too tight and I managed it without getting covered in yuck.   Our car has a space saver wheel so having to stay down to 50mph all the way to Ledbury was tedious :-)
Worth it though - James and Ariadne were presenting in their school science fair, James had built a dice simulator and Ariadne a presentation on Jupiter with a demo of how the red spot forms.   The others were very good too - 30+ year 1-5's all set up in the school hall.
James has two broken fingers - goalkeeping against a fast shooter.

Re yesterday's waiting room blip.
This was in the hospital where we went to see a cardiologist.  Gill has a dodgy heart vale which will need replacing (She has Aortic Stenosis).
She's not in any huge danger so we're very relieved it has been found sooner than it might have been and it is not likely any further damage has occurred.  Probably 6 months before the operation is done and she is recovering.  More tests needed to asses the best way forward.
The main short term consequence is no more strenuous exercise although walking every day to maintain muscle tone is ok.
Top marks to the trainee GP who identified a murmur needing investigation and the follow up from the echocardiogram specialist and the consultant. We're quite fortunate to have seen the clinical lead for valve replacements in this area!
My blippery will have to take account of some changes, so it will be a while before I blip her e.g. painting on top of the Malverns
