Lamium Orvala …..

….. sounds much better than “ornamental dead nettle”. This shoots up each year to form quite a substantial clump in a shady part of the garden. The flowers are well concealed within the green foliage, and consequently not at all easy to photograph. They are a good source of nectar for bumblebees apparently, although the bees must sneak in when I’m not looking.,

Days are very busy at home, so I am not keeping up with other people’s blips, although I try and catch up eventually. But I am trying to at least post a daily image, taking a photo of something that I find interesting or entertaining is a welcome diversion.
