Metagama centenary

Local dignitaries speak to open an exhibition in Stornoway Town Hall. It commemorates emigration from the Outer Hebrides over the past 250 years. The focus was the departure of SS Metagama this day in 1923, when hundreds of mainly young men left for Canada.
