Southwold

After a busy half term, it was rounded off with some events to help celebrate my wife and I's Silver Wedding Anniversary - which is the 17th of April. Over to Southwold mid morning and had brunch at the Boating Lake cafe - one of our favourites and a bit of a hidden gem in this seaside town which attracts many visitors. Headed along the beach to the harbour where you can catch the ferry to Walberswick and had a drink in the Harbour Inn. Back into town for some shopping and then checked in to our hotel: The Crown - a lovely Adnams hotel - had a good room with a view of the brewery / distillery and settled in with some prosecco. Got ready and wore the waistcoat that I wore at my wedding - yes it still fits - and down for a lovely meal in the restaurant and then a wander. This is one of the finest pubs in the town. Back to our hotel room.
