One Stop Access

I want a mini household ladder like this. It would enable me to see into and onto all sorts of places where a flimsy ladder would be inviting a fall. I could step into the cradle at floor level and be transported upwards towards the ceiling at the press of a button. That would sort out the cupboards far above my head which never see the likes of a duster.

I am not a fan of Zoom calls. There always seems to be a faffing around to have the camera or the microphone or both working in order to begin the call with those present.  I do prefer FaceTime and I can’t remember when I last had a Zoom call. However, I have one this afternoon with a lawyer. I wonder what his scale of fees are for a Zoom meeting?
