Textures

I liked the textures here. My day didn’t have many textures as I was working on my test item writing. Good progress though and I quite enjoy it once I’m started. I think one of the keys is knowing when an item isn’t going to work and cutting your losses. I’m working on listening test scripts - recorded messages - for A1, the lowest level. It has its challenges and it’s a bit like a puzzle. You change a couple of words and then the syllable count is out! Then you realise that one of the words isn’t on the vocabulary list for that level, like ‘restaurant’! And the use of ‘will’ isn’t allowed at that level either!
