Got in a couple of cars and took the beautiful route alongside Thirlmere, Grasmere, Rydal Water and Windermere to Blackwell.

Home via the Kirkstone Pass and Glenridding (on Ullswater).
Out for dinner and the remainder of the evening was spent sharing old friends’ nonsense. We don’t really want to go home tomorrow.
