My last day in Blighty for a while. I've been here just two weeks shy of 5 months - longest stretch since 1996 !! So much time with family and I'm loving living 'an ordinary life' - but time to go back to my adopted home, at least for now. 

Weatherwise, wonderful warm sunshine this morning but with a keen wind, both replaced mid afternoon with dullsville overcast and eventually, of course, rain.

My day was busy but productive and at 23.00 I am still working my way through the pre travel 'to do' list, that included car to the garage for work (bro will need to collect), final Tesco dash for more Cadbury's chocolate and mature cheddar cheese, nearly two hour Macbeth tutorial with JJ, online check in, bro for dinner, then about an hour ago, bye bye to family members Charlie, Maddy and Harry who all came round for the purpose, and most (but not all) of my packing done.  Various housework chores remain before I can zzzz, so I must press on.  See y'all on the other side.
