Three Colours: White

I am half way through a project to see all three films in the Three Colours: Blue, White and Red trilogy. This afternoon found me in Dalston at the Rio cinema to see the White part of the series.

I got there early so had a few minutes to explore Ridley Road market. Lots of colour and action. You can buy unusual veg like yams and breadfruit. Pigs trotters, tripe and other dubious looking meat cuts. Rugs from Afghanistan. Bright patterned shirts and bucket hats.

The Rio is a beautiful art deco picture house with lux seats and welcoming staff. Next week I'm off to see Red so then I will have bagged the set.
