I am looking

What an exciting bird excursion.... for me anyway. I saw a courting great cresting grebe couple, it was a spectacle. Too far away, so no photo. But otherwise I looked at my husband, it is pure joy to see him having a good time. 
Extras: I saw a funny spider, a zebra jumping spider. (Salticus scenicus). Despite the name, the spider did not jump over the gap between two boards. He stretched out his long legs. And it worked, too.
 It has been very little with spring flowers. But here I managed to find a measly wild pansy (Viola tricolor). And it blooms much earlier than it normally does, in May. So there must be some kind of compensation for all the missed spring flowers.
