St. Francis Returns to the Garden

This has been the week of returns, especially at the Back Porch Cafe but it is also a time for the garden to begin its slow resurrection.  The daffodils are beginning to bloom and now St. Francis is back in his place supervising the whole process.  John worked so hard yesterday finishing the branch and limb clean up and now I have a huge pile that will need burning unless I can find someone with a chipper, which I really would prefer.  He'll be back later this morning to clean up the patio, remove all the seed shells from the winter and rake the beds.  I will remark the new wildflower garden so when the first mow comes, he won't mow over it.

Gift#110: an emerging garden.
