Whit Friday 2013

My favourite day of the year: Whit Friday.

Morning is Whit walks, stroll behind the bands, clear the throat to my favourite hymns, catch up with news from the village.

Afternoon is school sports, even though this year there were more adults than kids thanks to the traditional weather.

Evening is bands and beer - with friends, in the village square, where even a chill wind can't lessen the warmth.
