I am a little nervous about this one.

I took the photo of the rose realising that it was dying on the outside but still quite lovely on the inside, the part that can't be see in this photo but is still there. If the rotten leaves were picked off, there would be fresh ones underneath.

I guess it's an attempt of exploring the metaphor of "Fashion fades, only style remains the same". There are parts of the rose that have wiltered and parts that are still gorgeously alive. The wiltering, in a sense, represents fashion fading. That fashionable pleat will be replaced by a bow next season, therefore our closets wilter and die in the fashion world. Underneath all the fashionable pleats and bows is our real style, the style that will never fade!
