This morning’s view from the Burleigh Bridge

Water is finally running in the river again after months of dry shingle. (Of course the water is always there but running out of sight deep under the shingle bed.)
The distant bank of fog had rolled back over the Wither Hills.
I had a quiet day. Gardened. Weeds are easy to pull out after recent rain. The weather forecast for Blenheim this weekend is grim: with heavy rains mainly over tomorrow and early Saturday morning.
