Rats oh rats

Walked down this path close to our town park - it’s such a familiar one that I’ve used almost daily for years.

Never have I actually seen so many rats though. I know they are increasing down by the New River loop and I’ve often seen them near the water, but I’ve never seen them scurrying about on this path. I’ve heard them. Not seen them. Yuk yuk yukkity yuk.
