Good evening Darlington!

A four and a half hour drive up various motorways to get here after work. I missed a meal that was for work colleagues (guessed I wouldn’t make it) and so I managed to locate a supermarket and got some sandwiches. I am ravenous as I’d be full of nervous energy wondering how the newly repaired car would perform. So far so good.

The drive was pretty good with only a bit of standing traffic in the Birmingham area which added about 20 mins onto my journey. It was a very bright and sunny evening so it made the trip a bit more joyful.

Got a bit of reading to do before tomorrow but it all feels ok.
