Ici Paris - Ici Dublin
Mimi is spending the evening in Montmartre with the cousins.
We are spending the evening in Dun Laoghaire, trying to prevent Finn from raising his middle finger in the famiselfie.
The girl is having a great time in the French capital (I gave her a crash course in how to kick dispersing grenades back at the CRS and how to build barricades from rubbish bags and torched electric scooters). It is good for her to spend a week away from home. Teaches her some independence. Perhaps not organisation skills (it is not a good idea to buy six fancy patisseries at 10am for an "aperitif dinatoire" at 7.30pm, when you are going to spend the day walking around Paris in the sun with no access to a fridge...)
I can't wait to hear all her tales of wonderment and freedom and laughter and fun. And hopefully no accounts of being beaten up randomly by the BRAV-M or being forced to eat soupe à l'onion in a brasserie (the latter could potentially be the most traumatic for her).
