Day 11

My collage includes pictures taken on Monday but features one taken today. Hopefully blip will allow this.

On Monday the final section of roof was exposed for repair and replacement. It was another horror story of wet and rotting timbers, woodworm, nesting material and much filth.

The rotten timbers were cut out, the woodworm treated appropriately, and all the vile felt and musty strips of lath have been removed and disposed of.

It was bad. A good time for me to take a back seat and have a rest, albeit in the back of an ambulance and a hospital bed.

The last picture was taken today. We are now excited as the project is nearing it's end. 

I am sure you will all be pleased to have the tedium relieved and I can get back to pictures of dogs, landscapes and pretty flowers. 

Much better today, resting and not doing anything silly.
