it being another glorious, hot and sunny day decided to go for the shot that shows the female Osprey on the nest set against the snow patches on the Cairngorms behind her. Was lucky to watch as the male dropped a fish into her tidy nest. She had been busy before he arrived. He then sat on his branch to eat his breakfast. Hope he doesn’t have too busy a day chasing other birds because as I left another bird approached.! There are other nests not far away so hope he is from one of those and not threatening, although the couple should be safe as well established.
