The bells . . .
As I've blipped before, our local church is at the top of the hill, such that it's always a good bit of exercise to attend a service.
The bells had their 250th anniversary last week, and to mark the occasion a team of ringers came in the afternoon to ring for three hours. Without a break. And the peals were different for the whole period; I don't know how many changes there were, but it sounded excellent. Apparently bell-ringing to that standard is quite a thing, and requires a lot of practice.
