Pear Blossom

I have an ornamental pear tree in my garden and although it produces plenty of growth and blossom it does not produce any fruit.

I used to prune the tree myself by standing on my shed roof with sis on the ground directing my loppers.  Those days are no more and my gardening boys now stand on the shed roof and use a powerful battery cutter and what took me hours they do in minutes.

I don't fall asleep very easily and always listen to an audio CD as I try to drift off but last night my rather elderly Radio/CD player decided to stop working. A trip to Currys this morning ..... choice not great in these modern times but I did find one that I hope will last as for many years.
