fit to burst

This has a long and complicated name which I always have to check. Nectaroscordum siculum subs. bulgaricum.
It's an allium, in fact it's an onion!
I love these buds when they are just about to burst. It is such a beauty in flower, and then it turns itself around and points to the sky and looks like a fairy castle. This is the first one to start to open up in my garden. I have quite a lot throughout the borders and I get rather excited waiting for them in their full glory.
