Flowers in the Wrong Place

These so called weeds were peppering the grass in robust form outside the Dower House this morning and enjoying the sunshine minutes before they were executed by the gardeners in their big grass cutting machines, though not before I had blipped them for posterity.

My trip to Decathlon last week with my Orkney Selkie provided me with a zipped waterproof bag into which I could put my wet sea socks after a dook and it has proved so successful that I took the tram back this morning to get another one for my wet bathing costume and gloves.

It was a sunny day but the NE wind was particularly icy. If you could hide from the wind then it was almost warm. I am giving it a try now, tucked in behind the east turret.
