Mother swan on her nest. Leeds Liverpool Canal
The Feast Day of St. Leo.
After buying our Daily Mail I had a walk to the Victoria St site of the canal.
There was a bitterly cold wind and it is 8c but feels much colder.
The narrrowboat called Elsie has returned and a blue boat with no name.
I leaned carefully over the drystone wall and zoomed my lens to capture a shot of the Mother swan. I did not stay for long as father swan was on guard. I was sad to see all the litter surrounding her nest. Longing to see the cygnets.
More de cluttering this morning and then perhaps a walk in the afternoon.
Have a lovely day and thanks for dropping by.
