The Mighty 92 and little old me

Well, what a day. When this job is good, it's beyond words good. We called out Rescue 912 from Humberside to assist with a rather sad job. We needed their winch capabilities.

As we flew past them on the way home, one of our doctors who was with the Mountain Rescue team took this photo. The 92 is in the hover and we're just passing by for a look. It's a Bristow helicopter. Brought back some good memories. I'd love to fly one again but it's not going to happen.

I've got such a range of emotions at the moment for all sorts of reasons - highs and lows, happy and sad. It's a strange and unsettling time, but I've got good support and I'm carefully navigating my way through it. One just has to be careful that one doesn't get swamped by it all. Steady as she goes.
