Early evening light

After a dullish start the day brightened and we had sunshine so the washing could go on the line and with the breeze it dried and smelt divine even though the chap upstairs peered out of his window and blew cannabis smoke out! My friend Malcolm came round to look at the upstairs door through which the rain seeps when the wind is in the south west. Extra off the bottom of the door! There is a simple solution of adding a rain guard at the bottom made of aluminium and which is not costly but I have to inform the rest of the flats owners! It is at moments like these when I wish I had a separate residence. This is the view from the William Yard over to Mount Edgecumbe with the suns rays breaking through the grey cloud building up for rain.
