Esperanza

I was up and out to visit a friend who's in hospital after a fall after a newly repaired knee - major injury done and new stuff on top - and 2 conflicting resolutions. One injury needs absolute rest and immobilisation for 6 weeks, the other needs regular movement. She'd requested a good coffee, so took 2 in with me with croissants. Brilliant to sit and listen to her, watch the tears flow, enjoy the laughter, pray together at the end. Then stood up and looked out of her hospital window and saw this word, 'hope'. 
I left there and headed over to San An for a coffee and catch up with CJBrucie who blips but was a friend through 24-7 Ibiza long before that connection! Great to catch up on all sorts of things. 
Home and Caña Club. All sorts of extras including the South Africans who are visiting us for 2 weeks, and 2 friends of James and Rich's who are here on holiday and who J&R had sent down to hang out with us for the evening!! 

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Esperanza. Hope.
2) Time with Júlia. Always a privilege. She's a powerhouse of a woman.
3) Time with Cathy - good to talk about a wide ranging variety of things!
