Lost

It has been a wonderful spell of good weather, and we have had full advantage of it with lots of walks.

Today we had a special treat of an afternoon tea with a voucher that had been gifted to me for Mothers' Day.  It was lovely, two kinds of sandwiches and a spicy chicken wrap, warm scones with jam and cream, and five different kinds of little cakes.  It took us a while but we made it through.  We sensibly had it as our lunch, rather than later in the afternoon, so didn't feel bad about indulging.  (extra photo)

Afterwards we went down to Rouken Glen as we were near, and Bob sat in the sunshine while I had a good walk.  This little duckling seemed to have lost his family, they were quite far away from him and he didn't appear to know what to do so stayed near the edge of the pond in the grasses.  However, he did later find his way back to his kith and kin.

Amazingly, today is Gary and Izzy's first wedding anniversary, where has the year gone.
