Toothpaste slime mould
On this morning's walk with the spaniel I found a nice group of seven Lycogala epidendrum slime moulds. My photograph shows one of the circular orange-pink fruiting bodies which was about three millimetres in diameter. It is usually known as the Wolf's Milk slime mould but I prefer the alternative name: Toothpaste Slime. More: here
