Autumn colours

I used to have a big one of these trees (smoke tree) in my garden and I remember this time of the year as an intense patch of glorious autumnal colour that seemed to flood the garden.  Now, I just have a self-seed that I've transplanted into a much smaller pot.  The extent of the colour isn't so great but the colours themselves are still glorious.

Lovely sunny day and inroads were made into the post-holiday image sorting, though nowhere near as far as I'd have liked to have got.  Rain forecast for tomorrow so that might keep me a bit more focused.
