Teehee! Sorry, I blame going to the pub on an empty stomach!
My husband and I went into town this afternoon (he was 'working from home') to see if he could get a linen jacket for the summer. There's a wonderful old-fashioned gentlemans' outfitters in Northampton called Montague Jeffery that has every suit and jacket and shirt and tie and socks and cufflinks a gentleman could wish for (you get the picture?) except a Linen Jacket. They had a couple of suits that were ok but not quite what he was looking for. (I'm not convinced he knew what exactly he was looking for!) while he dithered and chatted with the shop assistant there I took pictures! I also bought a birthday present for someone - very organised for me!! (Well I had plenty of time to look around...)
A friend rang while we were out and suggested a quick beer.. Rude not to.. But I hadn't had much for lunch and a pint of Guinness went straight to my head! (Cheap date) Home now and cooking a late dinner with a glass of wine in hand. (Has to be done)
I was hoping to get a picture of the amazing storm clouds we've had today but the ones I managed to get weren't a patch on others I've seen on here so I chickened out! One day I'll be in the right place at the right time!!
In other news, Tia hasn't escaped today.. :-)
