Peeling Peas
Beautiful day. Managed to get some work done in the garden.
Cleared the old strawberry plants out, and tackled the horrible job of moving decomposed and decomposing compost from one pile to another. The new 'stuff' was used to top up the strawberry bed and the new plants planted. A big tick in the box!
No 3 played in the garden all afternoon - with various friends. She spent the evening pushing secret messages through the hedge to her school pal next door.
Just need to talk the new neighbours on the other side into chopping down their (ugly) tree and then I can sit outside even longer.
A bank holiday weekend (for Civil Servants but not schools). Mr S is off on Monday. This is very exciting as I'm not used to having a grown up to play with during the day....what will I do with him?????
(Smutty lot....I was thinking along the lines of DIY!)
Here's No3 - she likes to peel her sugar snap peas (Snow Peas) before eating them.
