Epitaph procession - Good Friday

A trip into the city this evening to watch some of the Epitaph processions that were being held. These were preceded by services in the church. The processions are led by the priests, one of whom Carrie’s the Cross. There are somber hymns and the priest leads the people in the procession. I walked with one and saw another although there were many more all over the city. A very special experience, especially when the crowds in the street go silent as the procession gets closer.
