Monday: Birds

I really should know better than to try and identify anything than the most obvious of flora and fauna.  Apparently yesterday’s bird wasn’t a toucan but a collared aracari.  In my defence…………..actually I have no defence.

Work is pretty noisy at the moment.  We are having roof replacement works going on, and now have electricians in.  They’re here from the UK and have incredibly broad Scouse accents.  It’s lovely to hear since we don’t really hear English accents at the moment.

We bought this painting last week in Placencia.  We went back three times to see it before we bought it.  It’s always going to be a lovely reminder of……..birds of some type.
