Lunch Out

Mrs S and I dressed smartly but casually for a trip to Royal Fleet Auxiliary Mounts Bay whilst in dry dock for a maintenance period. Ten of us went altogether, five couples, all from Falmouth Royal Naval Association.
We were hosted by one of the ships officers, Doug, and were treated to briefs on the ships capabilities, it’s last deployment to Norway, an overview of the RFA fleet and where she is off to next. We enjoyed a tour of the ship which included lunch in the officers dining saloon.
It was a great visit and enjoyed by all.

Arriving home I changed and loaded Paddy into Mrs S’s T4 van and headed off to see Richard, he of Friday coffee mornings. Richard has offered to wash and polish ‘Red Betty’ in preparation for our up and coming weekend camp out at the River Dart Country Club, I’m sure Mrs S will be delighted.

Paddy and I then walked back via Swanpool Lake and the cemetery so he could have a little off lead ‘freestyling’.
More chocolate in the evening, there cannot be much left from Easter!
