Same Rose : New year : same old Questions(?).  
Is it pensionable yet?  will I outlive it?

Thus far I can vouch for it being in situ here since about March & earlier 2009.  
AND  -  since, technically, my1st Blip after joining was, probably, the 3rd Mar 2009, I have no earlier evidence of it.  At which Blip I mentioned it was probably planted there after BIG Bill widened the drive for us in May 2006.

I do recall, in a Blip of yonks ago, commenting that the poor wee beastie had had a previous existence of 10 yrs in a Pot prior to its "release to the wild."
