At the seaside.....

A glorious day of weather today! Beautiful blue skies and feeling warm too, and that bought the people out to walk down Southend Pier, the longest pleasure pier in the world!  We were in Southend for a  little bit of shopping this morning and I took this snap on our way to our favourite cafe along the seafront where we had an early lunch!

And this afternoon I had letters to post, so took myself off for a little wander afterwards to the woods to see how the bluebells were looking! They've just started to bloom so I think a week or so and they'll be in full swing! Lots of wildlife out in the sunshine for me to enjoy, even if the pesky Brimstone wouldn't pose nicely for me again! one day I'll get to take its' pic!!
