Newness!

We have been keeping a close eye on the nest in our bird box and by chance we saw the baby pop his head out this morning, it was amazing. It got a little brave and leant forward and fell out the nest. Just before he hit the ground he flapped like crazy and made it, clumsily, over to the conifers. The parent robins have been visiting all day. I've been on cat watch and had the hose pipe ready ;)

Today Evie was off school with sickness and earache. We have been cross stitching, making origami birds, frogs and fish and baking! We also made sherbet lemon juice (totally amazing and taste exactly like sherbet lemons) and to balance that, mini chocolate brownie muffins!!

Recipe for Sherbet Lemon juice:
2 Golden delicious/pink lady apples
An inch slice of lemon
Juice and pour over ice!!

Big day for Evie tomorrow (if she's better) she wants to spend her birthday money on a new camera, I might treat myself to a little upgrade too ;)
