hiding under our bed, which it looks like he's been attacking.

The news from our vet is not good.  Neo has hyperthyroidism.  And his numbers are very high.

I have 4 options or 5 really.

Surgery, iodine treatment, tablet or liquid medicine.  Or having him put to sleep.

The vet has made it all sound very jolly and treatable.  But having looked into it at his age, he will be 13 this year, it will probably only give him a year or two.

And there are a lot of side effects to consider, with all the treatments.

It breaks my heart, as he doesn't seem that unwell.  But all the signs of the illness are there.
