Auchtermuchty adventure
Rather dull today, but my friend Tim and I set off early on what proved to be a 200 mile return journey to Fife to attend a Professional Gardeners' Guild meeting at the Backhouse Rossie estate near Auchtermuchty.
There we met some 14 or so folk, mostly old friends, and enjoyed a walk round the garden, which at this time of year is showing off its huge collection of daffodil cultivars. We had lunch and spent a lot of time chatting before walking round the woodland and the Bear Walk - see extra - and arrived back home soon after six. A good day all round.
