First cut

We spent most of today with our daughter E and son-in-law M. They cut their new lawn for the first time... using our lawnmower (brought from Switzerland but no longer needed by us).... E was particularly happy with their 'green carpet' - blip. We the helped to create a 'doggy' area with sand and pebbles (several trips to garden centre). It was a lovely day (warm and sunny) and a pleasure to be able to help them. Back home to enjoy the sunshine and a welcome cuppa on our terrace.
