St Dogmaels

A day of two halves. We walked along the waterside to Poppit Sands in the morning then on towards Cemeas Head, beautiful views across to Cardigan Island. An enormous and delicious roast dinner at the Ferry Inn, followed by a walk round St Dogmaels, taking the waterside path to the Blessing Stone, the Norman Abbey, mill and then the high path, past Albro Castle back. The blip with the reflected light from the stained glass window was taken in St Thomas’s church next to the Abbey.
