Pontresina

It snowed over night again. Also snow flakes and sunny spells today.

We walked to Pontresina to see the Ibex which come down close to the villages at this time if the year to feed on special plants and to rub their winter coat off on the bushes and trees.

We were very lucky and watched more than 70 animals for more than an hour very close by. Also very special was that the female herd and all males stayed together all afternoon. Usually they are going separate ways in spring. We also saw a marmot chasing off a fox very courageously. Amazing nature.
