Bushy Park

This morning I set off early for a bike ride…the first for 11 weeks due to my hip replacement. I am now able to cycle again and decided to go on the roads while quiet for my first ride and then round Bushy Park. So good to see all the leaves beginning to appear, particularly on the Horse Chestnut trees, such a fresh green colour at this time of year. These deer have very velvety antlers developing. No swans nesting in a couple of places where they usually do so I will have to look elsewhere.
I really enjoyed cycling again and did 9 miles OK, just a bit slower than usual as I have lost fitness. Very relieved that I can now get out and about more locally without having to take the car. 

The family came for lunch..our daughters 12th Wedding Anniversary….lovely memories from that day. 

Now that I can do gardening again I have some catching up to do. Today I planted some seeds ..Cosmos and Sunflowers.
